    Just got back from holidays and found these........

    Think i've got a total of 11 beans and still a few more flowers to come out

    Longest bean is approx 12cm and getting big quickly. Just need to make sure that they don't get aborted now.

    nnoooooo dont pollinate so many ull weaken the plant and also get poor quality vanilla!!!!! only the first 5 or 6 flowers per raceme

    Thanks for the warning King but i'd already read that. I've got 3 racemes and there has only been a maximum of 4 beans allowed on each one pollinated to reduce risk of damaging plant and reduce risk of beans being aborted. Also found that flowers were more successful at being pollinated at about 12pm (GMT) and also better on dull days. As for curing i'm debating on what method as there are a few but as i've got 6 months to decide I don't think theres too much hurry. Just planning to sit and watch them for a while.
