    wow. spectacular ascocenda. the orange and purple are just excellent. vary exotic looking plant.

    What a beauty !!! I agree with Cathy, everything about this plant and blooms is special. The ascocentrum parent is so dominant I cannot see any flabellata there, do you have a photo of the flower from the side angle? Does it have a spur or any similarity at all to the flabellata?

    The whole thing with changing flabellata from aerides to vanda is ridiculous. That forward facing spur makes it an aerides not a vanda.
