    i bought 3 bulb sumatrana, of which 2 died... the other one is doing fine with many bulbs... however the bulbs seems small... had it for 2 years plus and it still hasnt flowered......

    Sorry to your lost actually sumatrana is one of the easiest plant to grow and flower in lowland I personally saw huge clump in Selangor as well as in Pahang, in my area it's bloom at least 3 to 6 times a year, the tips are not to put the plants in shady area it's need at least 60% sun light, doesn't like wet media and this plant crazy for the regular fertilizer. i just attached on the tree trunk so far growing very well for me.Name:  1.jpg
