Default Clo. Pierre Couret first time in bloom!

Clo. Pierre Couret (Cl. Rebecca Northen ‘Grapefruit Pink’ x Ctsm. v. imperiale ‘SVO Blood Red’), bred by Fred Clarke.
Unfortunately, the plant fell of the shelf twice and lost two of 11 buds. Anyway, even 9 flowered spike is quite showy in my opinion. Flowers are rather large (sepals and petals are 1 1\2", flower is about 2,5 in diameter), fleshy and fragrant (very nice, reminds me of Clowesia warscewiczii and\or lemon cake)

A flower like that would have me snapping pictures every five seconds to capture every angle. Wow...very cool one! Love it!
