    Default Cochleanthes ionoleuca

    Another huntleya alliance one of the most free flowering i think in Cochleanthes family the same spike at the base may produce up to 4 spikes sadly no smell.

    Too cool! I like the way certain orchid petals stay way up while the lip hangs down like this one. Very classy looking... Reminds me of a flower you would see in a drawing with fairies flying around it.

    neat form to the flower, like the lip on this,I agree with Connie, looks like a flower from a fairytale illustration, thanks for sharing

    Thanks Connie this is the classical presentation most of the Cochleanthes and even in Chondrohynchas, Chaubardia and Ixyophoras that I can recall.

    The diameter almost about 6 cm relatively good size flower but so sad no fragrant. Thanks Bruce.
