Been a long time since I last saw one of these. While I am not a big fan of green flowers, I have always enjoyed seeing these.

What a delightful little flower - I love the color on this one, too.

The aeranthes i have grown are successional flowering, but with rather long intervals of time between flowers, which may be that my culture was sub-standard. I found that the foliage was rather prone to black spotting , i suspect bacterial, from excess humidity. So not a genus I persisted with. But the flowers, hanging in mid-air, are rather curious and interesting.

I have no experience this is my first flower, thanks for the info Geoff, do you know what is the black spotting behind the leaves? I always noticed most of the angrecum including Aeranthes grandiflora very susceptible to this disease why? any idea how to eradicate ?
