Angraecum sesquipedale?

    Default Angraecum sesquipedale?

    The spurs are 30cm long. The smell is quite special,not delightful,...Do you think it is a pure sesquipedale?

    Looks good to me ; and in the hybrids I have seen the spur is defintely not that long.

    Lovely. Does look like a sesquipedale with that long spur.

    Zuoxin, I think your plant is Angraecum eburneum var. superbum. The not valid name is, Angr. superbum var. longicalcar in keeping with a very long spur. It could be 40 cm long.

    You could be right Mietek - but the lip looks more like a sesquipedale.

    What confuse me is the upper sepal. It can not fully open. I dont know whether it is affected by other gene.

    It looks more like a sesquipedale, i have both sesquipedale and eburneum var. superbum, there is a huge difference in size of plant and leaves, but I'm no expert. good luck with i.d.
