Native to Malaysia too I still remember when I was student in Penang when I went to Bukit Bendera (Penang Hill), I noticed yellow color flower along the railway very odd and unique like a human shape then I realized it is Habenaria rhodocleila variety yellow very cute.

A very beautiful variety, Zainal!!! I didn't know that H rhodocheila occurs in Peninsular Malaysia. I have seen H carnea, sumatrana and Pectelis susannae in the wild but never a rhodocheila. thanks for the info.

I've always loved these but have never tried them. (Here they tend to quite expensive and I have yet to meet anyone in my area who has had good luck growing them.) They remind me of nudibranchs (the colorful sea slugs).
