    Default Corybas carinatus from Borneo

Our guide spotted this clump of helmet orchids while we were hiking up on Borneo Highland trail. It was growing on a moss covered rock wall, with very tight space for footing. I wish I could hanging arpund longer to get better closup shots. I am always so behind everyone during the hike because I go nuts over orchids, lol.

Incredible! Never seen this one before. My daughter is going to visit Borneo in February and I showed her this picture and told her to walk around with eyes wide open

Thank you for nice comments. It was such a joy seeing orchids in-situ.

I was lucky enougn seeing helmets blooming both at Cameron Highland (back in April) and here again at Borneo.

Lovely. I am like you . I am always trailing behind looking at or for flowers of any variety but it is even worse if I think there are orchids a around.
