    Mine hangs in the vanda section so it stays pretty wet year-round. And even during the winter, while it doesn't get a lot of fertilizer it gets a ton of sun. I try to keep night temps above 63 degrees. I hope yours will reward you soon...sometimes they take a break (go into shock), when you get them from care and location changes. Hang in there...

    I keep it with the vandas, so yes. I try to make sure any plant I buy can tolerate high temps. We can get into the mid 90's in the summer. I live close to the coast though, so our back yard nearly always has a very good breeze keeping things a little cooler.

    Very nice Connie! It will eventually grow into a large mat covered in blooms

    By the way it has been moved back to the genus Encyclia
