    Default Catasetum macrocarpum

    This plant was growing on one of the orange trees in my yard. This species is common where I live in Trinidad. The strong scented flowers attracts these bees. I apologise for the pictures.

    Whoa!! How small are the flowers, or how big are those bees????

    Now that is cool. This is the first picture I've seen posted that had a native pollinator in the photo! I love it.

    The bees were about 3 cm in length. The noise that they were making caught my attention.
