    never seen one with pale spots. I have seen spotless ones.

    The growth habit almost similar like Grammatophyllum love the pale color I was told that there are so many color variations the best I think black or darker color.

    This variety is commonly known as African Ansellia or Leopard Orchid. I have never seen this variety in real life, but would like to know more about this one.

    Beautiful plant altogether, Eric - the foliage is particularly lush-looking, and the blooms fall elegantly. Really nice overall effect.
