    just bloomed, flower lateral span seems to be larger than they used to be....flower gets bigger as the plant gets larger??

    Oooooo - almost within attractive territory, but still somehow disturbing. However, Ian - beautifully grown!

    I just meant that it's almost an attractive bloom, but there's still that element of gory-ness to it that just keeps me from looking at it too long - some imagination, huh?

    Awesome Ian, awesome. Flower count and size do increase as the plants mature - it happens with most other orchids as well.

    Beautiful bloom. Love the detail in these blooms. Always so interesting to study and look at closely. Really shows the complexity of orchid blooms.
