haha! ive all but eliminated all other plants, almost entirely orchids now! giving one more heavy plumeria tree away today, donating it to my upstairs neighbor's empty rooftop space... hopefully that does not turn into a justification to get another grammatophyllum... seems i lost mine and kinda want another...bit counterproductive on the weight front though...

Very nice Shane! Love all of your healthy orchids. I'm glad that the plant you got to remember Phillip is still blooming.

    cheers,

(the second is actually the one i bought for our dear phillip, after leaving it at the temple for an appropriate amount of time... along with some fruit and bits and bobs one might want in the hereafter... i took it back home... it hasnt stopped blooming for one second and has another spike up with 4 more buds on it... for maura)

Just happened to see this thread, Shane. You dear thing! You've made my day!!!! Those laelias look like Richard Mueller hybrids and are very fine indeed! I shall have to designate one of my orchids in your (and Jeffrey's? Is that him in the background?) honor. I've been promising myself to capture some of the really pretty ones I have in bloom right now - my lanai is overflowing, although, since I've been staying with my parents, they are rather orderly!

Hugs and kisses in your general direction!

if you're talkin bout the fat faced potato in this series of pics, no thats me... jeffrey is much hotter... and taiwanese ... though i do have to say the flu/tonsillitis combo ive been rocking for 9 days now has kick started my summer weight loss program with a bang!
glad to hear you are with the folks and surrounded by tons of blooms... i myself am just sitting back watching taipei get all the rain it should have gotten in the last 4 months in these 4 days we have as a holiday... woooh... good times! (honestly i love the excuse to do absolutely nothing!)

Hello Shane, very nice pictures !!! I am jealous of you, I don't have so much flowers on my own plants at this time. The reason : A very long long winter and few months without sundays (there are very rare above my place). Congratulations for getting so much flowers

Aha... 1) you in no way resemble a potato, and 2) If I were your type, I might jet over to Taipei, just to see your orchids, of course. Tell Jeffrey he'd better treat you right.

Beautiful flowers on your balcony can make any day a little nicer. Good growing.
