    Default Pteroceras on Plastic

I tried mounting the pteroceras on a pillar of charcoal held together by a plastic mesh, with more exposure to sunlight. I separated some parts from the mother plant planted in the shade and attached to a Christmas palm.

Well, it thrives, but I notice that the flowers don't have the usual scent. Maybe it's the direct sun. I can't detect any scent at all. Aside from an occasional leaf burn, and the absence of the scent, everything is else is alright.

I have made tubes of plastic mesh to grow Bulbophyllum on. I have even tied cocoa fiber to the outside of plastic tubes.

very pretty! is it Pteroceras unguiculatum?

It obviously loves your care...wow! I think the color of the flowers is just so lovely. Not super bright, just a delicate eye pleasing yellow.

Thanks Pavel. It does. But i pity it when the sun gets too hot. The leaves aren't as big as the one that grows in the shade.
