One I named for my wife, Joyce.
The cross is Neofinetia falcata x Ascda Blue Boy.
Three spikes this year, and a keiki too.
I am pleased with this ; at one time I had a multi-growth plant, which got into a bit of a state, and I split it up, and threw the tatty bits away. I am left with two pieces , oif which this is one, and both are now starting keikis, on their way to being multi-growth again. These small vandaceous things seem very generous with spikes, 2,3 even 4, from a single growth is not at all unusual. Well worth growing I think.

Wonderful blooms Geoff. And how nice that you named it for your wife.

This is a beautiful plant. I found something similar and ordered it because of your picture. You posted this a couple months ago--I'm sure it is not in bloom? Is it easy to grow? How often do you report it? Thank you.

No, the flowers are reasonably long lasting but have now fallen. Re-potting interval depends on my latest ideas for what is best ; one piece is in bark and a 4 inch basket , through which the roots extend, so as to be sprayed daily ( at present) - we happen to be having the first heat wave- long summer, for something like 37 years - but that's England ! - the other has just been repotted ( re-basketed) into sphagnum moss/perlite and gets the same daily spray with ain water p- fortnightly dunk in nutrient. It's as easy or difficult as any of the smaller Asscocentrums.
