The only reason for the "maybe" is that there does seem to be a lot of doubt - if only in my mind - about Rodriguezia as a genus ; I have not yet found any authoratitive work on the subject. Different dealers and books ( and IOSPE) seem to have different ideas about which names are synonyms, and sometimes I get two plants supposedly the same species, although sold under different synonymous names (sic) but they are in fact different species - at least horticulturally , if not taxonomically. But then it depends on whether the taxonomy is based on morphology or whatever, I suppose.
Still, I love them all, and maybe one day when I have been growing them for another decade or two (joke) I will write the book myself.
This is a 9cm pot by by the way, which gives an idea of size. Some other secundas I have, give more flowers, but smaller ones. But, to repeat myself, I love them all.

Nice shots, Geoff. The crystalline texture is very obvious.

Gorgeous, love the pure white. It can be hard to find such a pristine white.

Short answer, Ron - no, I'm not sure it is secunda, but it doesn't quite look like venusta in several respects , including leaf shape and texture.
