Default Danjiang University Orchid Show 2005

    Hi everyone,

this morning me and my wife visited our local university's annual orchid show.
It was only one large room, but (at least in our laypeople's eyes) very, very nice.

I put some pictures online (three pages) for y'all to ogle. Sorry I didn't jot down any names, but maybe you'll recognize a few :-)

WOW! WOW! And another WOW! Some very interesting and unusual plants, and a couple of specimen size plants to die for! Especially the bulbophyllum and the dendrobrium looking red one! I was also struck by the nice pots they were all in, and the modest displays that put the focus on the plants, not all of the decorating of the display area like I see at the shows I've been to. Thanks for posting them!

I second Matts Wow ! Beautiful pictures it is nice to be able to focus on the plants instead of the other stuff they add to the displays here . Thanks for sharing your pictures . Gin
