    Default Stelis sp.

    I posted pics of this a while ago, but since then it's been divided, placed in my spiffy new terrarium, and it's now blooming on 5 spikes.

    For all that, it is still not impressive. Although it is cute. Anyhow.

    Click on pics for larger images. If you do so, you'll find that some of the flowers are actually in pretty sharp focus, and that they're actually pretty cool.



    Here's a PWB (pic with bic). The pen is in the plane of the forward (out of focus) spike, not the rear (in focus) spike.

    Very nice little Stelis! It is hard to believe that there are species EVEN smaller than that one!

    Your plants looks to be a form of Stelis modesta, though it is hard to tell without height measurements and what country it came from...
