Default Smbcn. Garnet Glory 'Juno Beach'

Ctna. Why Not x Schom. thomsoniana, this was my first internet purchase about 5 years ago and always treated it like a catt and it would bloom every year with small spikes then, I transplanted it into a tree fern pot and upped the light and it took off, 6 spikes, there was a 7th but it blasted. Last year it started to give me a 2nd blooming around October but the spikes stalled and died. Hard to take photos of because of the size, over 4 feet from pot to spike, and the red always takes on a glowing look in photos. I know the name is probably different now but the nursery I got this from still lists it under this name.Name: juno 1 (Copy).jpg

Beautiful color -- but definitely not a plant I can ever see myself owning. That sucker is just too TALL.
