Default First Bloom Miltonia Breathless 'Florence'

I am very happy, I have had my Mil.Breathless 'Florence' for about 6 months and was not sure it was loving it's spot on my window shelf, But it has rewarded me with three lovely blooms for it's first time out. It is very sweet!
Thanks for all the encouragement and comments!

Would love to know how much light and water you are giving it.

    Hi
I have the little Mil. Breathless on shelves in my large front window which faces sort of south west- I have a big ole maple tree in the yard outside that window- so I do get medium/non direct light in the summer and when the leaves fall off the tree good strong light in the fall winter and early spring. I have all my medium light lovers in that big window on shelves made t fit it... (I am still a beginner) I have the Mil. Breathless planted in a general orchid medium that I buy ---- Vendor information removed - see FAQs on Posting ----
I soak most of my orchids about once every 5 to 7 days depending on how dry they feel...(my vandas get watered more often and I have a little stick mounted miniature that gets soaked almost every day). I don't baby mine and so far-so good. I do fertilize with 1/4 strength orchid food each time I water- but I soak them first with plain water and after they drain I water them with the diluted orchid food. Hope that isn't more information than you wanted. I really am a rank armature compared to most of the folks who post- but so far I have been very fortunate and lucky with my orchids..I just have to stop buying them!
