    Default Ceratostylis retisquama & philippinensis

Both are endemic to the Philippines, only.
    C. philippinensis is perhaps one of the most fragrant orchids I've ever come to smell. The blooms are at best a third of the size of C retisquama, aka rubra. Both are in season currently.

Beautiful!! I love the full plant shot of the Ceratostylis Philippinesis! That one is an award winner! Does the retisquana (rubra) plant get as large as the Philippinesis plant? Beautiful color on the retisquama. You have such beautiful orchids. Thanks again for sharing them with all of us!!!

    Cheers!

    Default Thank you.

BD, the clump of C philipinensis is just a bit bigger than your fist. It is much smaller than the C rubra plant.
