    You're right, that is a dragonfruit. The orchid is attached to a double flowered pomegranate (see my avatar), and a huge dragonfruit cactus grows beside the pomegranante.

    Yes, Zainal...all buds were able to bloom. I also noticed that the flowers may be very small but they last long. Some last up to two weeks.

    Hello Harvey. This actually an average sized orchid. But the flowers are remarkably tiny: the five flowers in the previous post would be an inch long, all five combined. My really big orchids are the Philippine species orchids Pteroceras unguiculatum, Cymbidium finlaysonianum, and Arachnis Maggie Oei. Please find my threads under Orchids of Other Genera in Bloom. But my biggest orchid is the Mokara Dinah Shore, followed by an Ascocenda Madam Kenny hybrid. Find my threads under the Cattleyas, Vandas, and Dendrobiums.
