I do water water & feed when in flower but as soon as the spike is finished i rest the plant .
The pseudo bulbs always get crinkled/wrinkled after flowering for a prolonged period , must be a lot of effort for the plant to sustain the spike.

    2014 update.
The spike this year is a biggie.

Spike is 71" long & still growing along ceiling of growroom , will probably be 6" or so longer when at full height.

My upstairs bedroom/grow room has a 25 foot tall cathedral ceiling. Send it my way if it gets too tall for ya!

Very nice color shine and texture on that flower. Great picture. Impressive spike. You must be doing something right.

I would think so , plant is pretty robust temperature wise.Mine has survived & bloomed in temps down to low 50,s / high 40,s(Fahrenheit) & 100f+ on the rare occasion in my green house.
They do seem to like a "rest"period after blooming (stop feeding & reduce watering dramatically for a month or so).
