It is looking more like a bud now. However, I have another question. There appears to be two tips now. The color is not as green as before. I am wondering if this normal or if I should treat it with Physon 20. Can you use Physon 20 on a bud?Name: IMG_0859.jpg

My den as it grows toward opening has each of the spikes showing it will be a group of 2 or 3 flowers each. I believe that is what you are seeing.

Light green is OK. Yellow is not. Personally, I would not use anything on it. But that is me.

This is a personal statement. I do not advocate the use of any preventative fungicides or insecticides. The only exception is a fungicide in the water of wet pad coolers. The best thing for insects is to be very careful when buying plants and isolation if anything is found. As for fungus and rots, air movement takes care of that very well. I'm a firm believer in lots of air movement.

I probably spend $10 a month on the electricity to run my fans.

It does look like a bud. I wouldn't use fungicide on it, since the rest of the plant appears to be uninfected.

So my first impression it would be a spike turned out to be correct.

    Very beautiful. Is it fragrant?
