Catasetums are very neat and this one is no different. I still need to find one I can grow here.

This looks like a bird in flight.

Nice bonus blooms. The cool spell we're having definitely has a beneficial effect on many of our orchids. My Coelogyne pandurata is putting out 3 spikes for the first time and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my Cym Chen's Ruby and Cym Golden Vanguard will not experience bud blast.

They grow well enough in Albuquerque, where our humidity tends to be lower than, and temperatures warmer than where you are. They need lots of water in the summer, and nothing at all from dormancy (you may have to force it into dormancy by stopping water) until about April when the new growth has roots about an inch long.
