    my first attempt to acquire this species took a wrong turn and turns out to be a wrong ID plant. fortunately the second one turns out to be right on the spot

    gosh friend i wish i could have helped you....the two species we have locally are macrocarpum and barbatum....the macro is the most common orchid i would say even more than tricho.luridum....wooden lamp posts,eaves of houses...i have even seen one come up on a wooden pallet in a pile of rubble...weird things...i hope you get a reward of many flowers next season

    haha,,...totally got your meaning of it. saw pics of it from other friends in FB, couldn't believe my eyes at first but think of it again, it is almost like some of those dendrobiums scenario we got here.
    i guess the when they said the grass is always greener on the other side is true...i still remember i paid quite a lot for a luridum. hahaha ....
