    Default Catasetum callosum 2014

my two callisum plant, one had bloomed today and the other plant maybe one more week to go. but what is interesting is the second plant there had two more spike emerging simultaneously from the base, three spike at one time, i think it is my second time experience, if i am not mistaken.
warm loving species, easily to grow and flowers freely.

Very lovely orchid, and I also like the terracotta pots with holes! I am doing that for my Vandas, and I was wondering if you drill the holes yourself?

those terracotta pots with holes behind the back ground are originally with it. but they are no longer in production, it is made by a local factory here but it seems that the next of kin in charge decided to stop the production. thus i am switching to plastic pots with custom made side holes, like the one this callosum is in, much easier than drilling clay pots and less mess, and also they are LIGHT and NON BREAKABLE!
