    Default Gastrochilous species

I got from my friend gave me as a small plant very slow growing and I thought the plant gone due to abnormal weather last year but I'm very lucky as he still with me now and rewarded me very awsome flowers.

Very pretty. Do you have the ID for it? An hour ago, I had a Facetime chat with my eldest son who works with a conservation NGO in Hong Kong and their Plant and Botany section people have registered a new Gastrochilus species recently discovered in Hong Kong, and it is named Gastrochilus kadooriei in honour of the founder of their organisation. I haven't seen a picture of it yet but on my next visit to HK I'll make it a point to see the plants in situ as well as a colony of Paph purpuratum.

    Hey Zainal,

your plant looks like a Gastrochilus obliquus to me. This species is very variable.
