    It's really amazing for how looong these ones can keep keep growing a spike without a bud!! And with 'long' I mean both timewise and meter-wise!! :-D So yes ;-), patience is a good companion for orchid lovers... (Wishing it was sold on bottles, though.)

    Xara,thank you for sharing. this looks a beauty. one of my psychosis is in bud and is already 2 months. how long did it take yours take from spike to bloom?. I could mellow down my expectations based on what your response is.

    4-5 months for this one... (it felt like years and years, though ;-) ) And the spike is so long that it poses serious placement problems in the window! But who cares, when the bloom finally looks like this one :-) !

    ksrir- So only a few more months to wait. Just wait until u start buying mature plants that take 2-3 years before first bloom, lol.
