Cool Phragmipedium ainsworthii, Paph. lieianum hybrid and Brassia verrucosa

I have acquired three new orchids.

    Name: phragmipediumainsworthii (424x640).jpg
Views: 739
Size: 139.1 KB I have always desired Phragmipedium ainsworthii as I adore the flower shape and the colour. This is my first Phragmipedium, I love watering so this orchid should suit me! (Btw, I have learnt not to over water by keeping a log).

    Name: Brassiaverrucosa (424x640).jpg
Views: 374
Size: 170.2 KB Brassia verrucosa (my first Brassia ). This one is scented (slightly spicy), and likes lots of misting as it has quite a few aerial roots. I think it is most elegant.

    Name: Paphincharm (424x640).jpg
Views: 974
Size: 141.4 KB I also acquired this exquisite little orchid. It is Paph. In-Charm '#1' x Paph. liemianum 'Show Girl.' It is not clear on the photo, but is has another bud adjacent to the flower. The leaves are faintly tessellated.

The paph could be a sequential bloomer. Paph liemianum is.

I love all three of them, good choices! One day I will get brave, see a Phrag for sale and buy it. Having managed to re-bloom my Paph from last year, I think I can do anything. I'm a very random waterer, so not so sure that's the best idea, but I sure love their flowers.

Thank you. :-) Have a go! The gentlemen who sold the Phrag to me said that they are not hard to look after provided that they are watered properly. The flowers are so elegant, I love the drooping form and the size of the plant.
