    sorry, but I made mistake, the name is Aerides magnifica and not Aer. calayan.

    The name Aer. magnifica has yet to be ratified as far as I can tell. Don't change your labels as yet. It still has to be accepted.

    I understand its been written up BUT it has to be adopted by the RHS advisory committee & published by them as being accepted as a 'new' or 're-named' species. I agree its probably quite correct in being renamed, being published as such doesn't guarantee it.
