    I started looking for Macroclinium species and there are at least 4 different species that look like yours and I'm willing to bet there are some that are synonymous. Without a key and a good magnifying glass it will be tough to id. If you can though, I'd say you're well on your way to a CCM. That is a beautiful thing!!!!

    Wade, I do know what it is. Sometimes I don't spell the species name on purpose...., Yes, some of them do look alike but I don't think they are the same....even the taxonomists have to dissect the flowers to see the difference.

    This is absolutely one of the most elegant flowers I have ever seen!!! It takes my breath away. How difficult is it to grow? Thank you so much for sharing.
