    Cool Encyclia radiata

I bought this from my favorite on-line seller about 3 months ago. It had spikes, just emerging. I have repotted from sphag due to: too wet for too long concerns. The spikes did survive the repot into my bark mix and matured. Also, I mentioned the roots in another post, so I added a shot of the roots that have grown since the repot from the current new, immature growths. They are already down into the bark so I am very confident of this orchids future.

It is fragrant at times during the day. But I don't know its schedule for releasing its perfume.

Looks very healthy. I have one but the pseudobulbs are 1/4th the size that of yours and is quite a slow grower.

    Lovely plant.

I noticed that you have repotted the plant particially sitting on top of the media to allow the roots to grow and reach down towards the media. Would this be a general rule for potting most orchids?

My mother in law seem to bury her dendrobiums too far in media and the bottom of the stems seem to yellow.
