    Cool Gastrochilus japonicus

This is one of my most regular, reliable bloomers. This is the 3rd flowering since I have had it. I have had it for almost 1 year exactly. It came in spike and this is the second time I have rebloomed her. In bloom 3 times in 2014. Last blooming it had 5 flowers. this time, it has 8 flowers.

It came to me happy and has stayed nothing but happy. A second plant has popped up. Since this is monopodial, I guess the new plant is a keiki.

I think I saw it blow by in that wind you are building to.

    Be safe chasing it down!

    Wade-
It lives in my orchidarium with a single T8 6500K Fluorescent lamp. It hangs near the top of the glass so I is relatively close to the light source. Seems to be enough light to bloom.
