    Default Bulbophyllum Elizabeth Ann

    Very difficult to bloom under my condition. This is only it's second time blooming after 3 years and only a single spike each time. Thanks all for looking.

    Yes, Elizabeth Ann is more reluctant to flower in tropical lowlands, probably due to the rothschildianum parent, which comes from India and the Himalayan region. Doesn't put on a good show like in most temperate countries unless grown in the highlands..

    Well that explains why my super healthy plant isn't blooming. It is time to look up its' info and add it to my "culture" sheet. I have begun keeping a Ledger of sorts on each species that needs special care. Most of mine need the same treatment...it's those oddballs that have to have a little note written up on them. This one will be going on that list today...Thank You for the info!

    ...Your flowers are so pretty! I will enjoy your pictures until mine blooms again...thanks for sharing.
