    Default Aerangis biloba

This is a small orchid of the African Angraecoid family. The biloba part of the name refers to the 2 lobed tip of leaf. The plant looks very much like a phalaenopsis. The star- shaped blooms measure 1 1/2 inches (3.5 cm ) and the spur is 2 1/2 inches ( 6 cm ). Normally there are 10 - 14 flowers on the pendant spike. IOSPE mentions that the blooms are long lasting but on my plant the blooms normally last about 2 weeks.

Thanks Angel - white flowers are really difficult to photograph.
