Southern England - in a heat wave, but my plants growing in a stream, fed from a chest freezer located below the tray - water temperature 10, air temperature 24 ( its hotter inland - being only one mile from the Atlantic ocean our heat is kept low in the summer, and our cold minimised in the winter - after all the sea probably runs between say 9 degrees at the normal lowest, and 15 or maybe 16 at the highest. The cold water around the roots mimics the natural conditions on top of the mountains in the Cape area of South Africa.
I'm pleased with my results, although I will tinker with the conditions to try and improve them.
The stream is about 5 feet long from left to right, and approx 2 feet wide, btw. The largest flowers maybe 4 ½ inches across. The earliest to flower - a hybrid with the clone name of 'May' has been in flower since about the middler of that month - its the pink on the right hand side, now almost gone. A few of the late flowering ones are still in bud, mostly at the back, less clearly seen - they are much taller spiked, and running out of headroom. The collection is now normally hidden by a single layer of 50% shade cloth, removed for the photo.
