    Default Cycnodes Freckled Sweetheart

(Cyc. chlorochilon x Morm. tuxtlensis) Took me three growing seasons to finally have this one bloom but it was worth the wait. Each of the previous two years I had good growth on the roots and new bulb but never lucky enough to have it spike. So each year I increased the light levels in hopes that would stimulate flowering. To my surprise it came out of dormancy with this year's new bulb starting in January and 3-4 inch roots by March at which point I began routine watering/feeding. Now growing indoors in a 6" pot in a mix of lava rock and orchiata under LED lights. Bloom size ranged from 3-4 inches.Name: Cyd Freckled Sweetheart 7-1-15 a.jpg

Gladly. Have set up as a separate post under the "Semi Hydro/Lights/Greenhouses/Accessories" section of the forum.
