My last picture of the year on this one, I have lost a couple of flowers and still have one more bud to open. I hope I have the same luck with as many flowers next year has I had this year.

Any advice here Jack? I bought one of these yesterday (without researching) because I liked the look of it and it is from the Philippines. I let the night temperature drop to about 50F in the house so I know I'm going to have to find the warmest spot possible but any other help would be much appreciated.

Chris, you bought yourself a nice one! There were a few nights this past winter that it got down to low 40's that I left it outside and it did not show any signs of problems because of the cold so down to 50 should not be a problem. I do have mine in the direct line of sun everyday as it likes heavy light. The nursery where I got mine has one right outside their entrance to their shop in direct sunlight and it had just finish blooming. Being in Canada you will need to give it lots of light while indoors and if you put them out during the summer work it into more sunshine over a couple of weeks so you don't shock it too much. Good luck and I hope to see some blooms soon!

Thank you both gentlemen! The temperature is a big relief and the height (didn't know about that) hopefully won't be a problem for a couple of years. Most of my plants go outside for the summer and the mounted ones are hung on a chainlink fence under lilac tree's so lightly dappled sunlight with full sun for about 4 hours in the morning.

Hi Chris, I have mine hanging under a tree with filtered light most of the day, full sun for a couple of hours in the morning. It has the most lovely scent! Enjoy!

I got one flower once, when my collection was very much into this kind of plant , and even that was considered pretty good going in UK. What a difference a few degrees of heat makes !
