Default Dracula bella X cordobae first bloom

I have had this Dracula a little under a year. It finally bloomed for me for the first time. It had sent out spikes in the summer but I think the temps were too hot for it to open. We are cooling down a bit and I think it is happier. Name: Dracula bloom.jpg

Thanks Harvey this was the first spike not to die. It grew really well during the summer heat but couldn't bloom. I had a fan on it during the day in the summer so I think it helped a lot.

I had a Drac and it actually grew well for a bit but then it went into decline and gone. I think too warm for it. It did pass during the warm season.

Thank you all. I am very happy that it is deciding to bloom. It threw another spike so I am hoping to get more flowers from it soon. Harvey I am not sure what your summer temps were but the grow room could get 85 to 90 in the summer. The fan really helped keep the plant from doing poorly. It really used that time to put on leaves. Maybe this one is an option for you?
