Nice shots, Ian. Suffering from the same malaise here - harder to overcome this with advancing age.

first of all, my apologies to everyone. the catasetum barbatum is wrongly labeled. the white fang is actually catasetum cristatum, not barbatum. the barbatum barb is pointy at the apex, while cristatum is rounded like this one. thanks to a forum member who pointed it out.

you may want to repot them and in the same time check out their roots, if your fertilizing regime is correct, their bulbs should always be similar or larger than their predecessors.
common causes for bulbs to be smaller and smaller are unhealthy roots or infection,

    thanks.
i guess other than age, sometime doing the same routine every day could also worn out the enthusiasm inside us.

    Ian, you always have beauties.

Yew-Sung, I know the feeling about advancing age, it's a bummer especially when the mind does not feel old.
