    Default Habenaria rhodochella and another terrestrial orchid

    Gift from a friend, just finished blooming. Habenaria rhodocheila yellow form (from Peninsular Malaysia).



    Arundina sp/hybrid. Some people say this is a hybrid between graminifolia and caespitosa, a miniature species from Vietnam. Compact plant, only 40cm tall.

    Lovely Habenaria rhodocheila I found a lots of this species in Bukit Bendera ,Penang.

    But there is only one Arundina in the genus, graminifolia

    Arundina caespitosa is a supposedly newly discovered species (in 2007) from Vietnam. These are some old posts by CxCanh:
