    Very nice blooming of laycockii... The hybrid of laycockii I used to have also had a weird smell, like mothballs.

    Hi Monica for the above species it's very easy to grow and flower as the plant come from the lowland which can stand higher temperature. basically I will use fern slabs as they like it so much but you must spraying the water twice a day as the roots is easily dried. I will use small amount of sphagnum moss to protect and cover the roots as well as to maintain humidity so far they are happy with the technique. I wish you will get some idea.The photos below will assist you.

    But the hybrid between V.dearei and P.denervi is awesome smell sometimes very weird.Thanks Li.
