Very nice and one I'd like to get. I recognize the tag. They are only 45 minutes from me so we go there quite often in the warmer months.

I was told not very long ago that I have patience for waiting for an orchid to bloom for 8 years, I am glad to see I am not the only one. Beautiful!

Note that the latest pair of leaves is of greater leaf-span than the previous ones ; in other words the plant is getting stronger. Maybe your culture has improved ! I don't see why they should be too difficult to grow in some parts of Canada, since they grow and flower OK in UK. I have seen a plant with two spikes and perhaps thirty or more flowers, here, but that had been well grown for perhaps 20 years, and was maybe 4 times as tall as the one shown here. That is intended to be encouragement btw !

Very nice.. Love the compact plant habit and patterning on the flowers.
