Cool! Mind if I ask what you have it mounted on Sriram?

Beautiful Sriram, I am getting more into this species, am on the look out for more then the one I have. I know one supplier who has them and they are going to be at the Redland Orchid Festival in 12 days, will be picking a few up to add to my one.

It came in the mount as is from the vendor. It is on some kind of hard wood and very smooth. From what I have been analyzing its behavior, it does not like to be wet (some people put moss in its mount and its a sure shot strategy to kill the plant) and can take quite a bit of sun.

One more observation I had is that the root center has to be facing you and got to water the center. I have had a few plants where the root center faced away (turned around by wind I guess) and lost a few plants

Thank you Sriram! I'm getting the impression that many growers in my area mount on the first thing that comes to hand without really giving it much thought.
