    LOL Jack! Darn if you do, darn if you don't. I had this plant called "Night Blooming Jasmine" and during the day, you can hardly smell it, but at night ... the odor is overwhelming.

    I had it in my front porch where the wind blows from the front to the back and I had to finally move it because the odor literally chocks you. I moved it to the side of the house ... then my neighbor started complaing that the odor comes through their bedroom windows (which they keep open) at night. LOL. I finally had to dump it.

    There are times the nose does work, normally if I am burning something on or in the stove, but if yours was that strong, I probably would have been able to agree with you.

    This is the second bloom on the same spike, with one more bud behind this one. Not as big a bloom as the first one, but I surly don't care!
