    Default Epidendrum peperomia aka porpax

This is one I got about three years ago as a few bits mounted on a piece of 2"x 2" cork. It outgrew that so I cut a hole to fit in a piece of cork tube and wired it down. Now its almost outgrown that and the roots fill the inside of the tube. For those interested in getting mini's this should be your first and I think everyone should have one in their collection. Very easy to grow and flowers every fall. (hope I don't kill it now) Right now there are five open flowers and 31 buds. Often referred to as the baboon butt orchid.

31 buds! That's going to look even more spectacular than it does now. Very nice!

    Thank you Zain!

    ---------- Post Merged at 05:25 PM ----------

I'm thinking of putting this plant on our society display table at a show next weekend. I think 12-15 flowers should be open by then. Never done this before so need some input on the presentation. Yes, no, do this, do that, any comments, suggestions much appreciated.
