    Default Ceratostylis rubra

Another cutie from the New York show. I asked the vendor about the growing conditions and he said "It grows like a weed". I'm sure that in Hawaii it does. Not so sure it'll grow quite that well in Pennsylvania. Anyone have any suggestions?

Default That plant is endemic to the Philippines.

Although it comes from the highlands it is not hard to grow, even in Manila.

My own plants are mounted, so I water them everyday. bright shade or almost full sun for Manila conditions. I have seen some potted plants that are so lush.

But then again, you are not where I am.
