I was interested in buying only the new Dwarf forms of Epidends but a good range isn't available here as yet. This isn't a dwarf unless dwarf form comes in at 6 - 7 feet. This one is awarded, not sure what though, have to look it up. Doesn't take up of the nil space I have.

Most of the ones I see here are in the 2' range but I suspect they won't keep that size.

Roy- Looks like maybe it has a lot of radicans in it?

I had a radicans that turned into a monster. They get huge and difficult to control in just a few years but that thing always had flowers on it. It was 7-8 feet tall. I kept it in a 20" ceramic pot so it would stay upright. It was inside during hurricane Irma but I think the salt water still got at it. The main reedstems started to die out but it was covered in kiki's that were fine. I stripped all the kiki's off and made up a half dozen new plants which I gave away all but one so I'm starting over.

I just looked up Pacific Sparkler and its a multi-generational hybrid and actually mostly cinnabarinum (60%) with 25% radicans and 15% jamiesonis.
    Interesting!

Thanks for the info Leigh. If it were a Catt, Vanda, Dend or Paph I would go to the length you have. Saves me. Thanks again, it is an interesting background. I just hope it breeds for me.
